Professional Organizations

Professional organizations have recognized the need for diversity, equity, and inclusion training for museum professionals as they work to create more accessible and inviting programs and environments for their patrons. These organizations include the International Council on Museums (ICOM), The Western Museum Association, and The American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
